    Hello,

Thank you so much for all of the coverage of the USS NY.

I am writing to see if I could get a copy of the coverage.  We, Curt's brother and family, live in Ft Collins, CO and were only able to get bits and pieces of the coverage via the live stream on the internet.

If I need to send a DVD/CD or something else, please let me know.

    Thanks,

THANKS for being the ONLY New Orleans TV station to cover this historic event. Even with the horrible weather conditions your diligence is greatly appreciated by all TRUE Americans. We are and will continue to follow your coverage and thanks again for providing this view for us who could not make it to the river...

As I watch the coverage you have chosen to give the sailing of the USS New York, I am overwhelmed by pride and gratitude.  I am proud of those who built this beautiful ship, and I am grateful to those who serve our country.  I am grateful, too, to Fox 8 for its decision to cover this event.  It is meaningful in so many ways to so many people.  All at Fox 8 are to be commended for their work in providing this complete, accurate, and moving tribute to the resiliency of the American people.

Great job covering the USS New York leaving New Orleans! Also, a wonderful tribute to the shipbuilders at Northrup Grumman Shipbuilding. I am a retired shipbuilder with 38 years of service. This tribute showed the community the caliber of work that is accomplished at NG. Many do not have an appreciation for the complexities of shipbuilding and what an asset NG is to the economy of the GNO area. THANK YOU!

Wish we would have gotten the day off to go see the new ship. At least Fox News covered it. Thanks for a great report.
